Toberman Thrift Store

More Than a Store—A Source of Dignity, Relief, and Connection

At Toberman Neighborhood Center, every service we offer is rooted in compassion—and our Thrift Store is no exception. Designed to meet urgent needs while preserving dignity, the Toberman Thrift Store offers free and low-cost essentials to youth, families, and individuals experiencing hardship. This past year alone, we distributed over $15,000 worth of clothing, hygiene products, and household supplies to community members in need. From a warm jacket for a child to basic hygiene kits for families facing housing instability, every item represents more than a donation; it represents hope, comfort, and the reassurance that someone cares.

Our Thrift Store is not only a vital support hub, but also an extension of our wraparound services. Whether a client is rebuilding after a crisis, preparing for a job interview, or settling into stable housing, we ensure they have access to the essentials that make daily life possible.

Every dollar spent at the Toberman Thrift Store goes directly back into the community, fueling programs that keep families housed, youth supported, and individuals on a path toward stability.

We operate with the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, respected, and supported, especially during moments of transition or hardship. That’s why our store is thoughtfully organized, culturally sensitive, and stocked through the generosity of donors and community partners who share our commitment to uplifting lives.

Together, we’re transforming clothing and supplies into tools of empowerment one household, one family, one neighbor at a time.
