December 2006--Toberman youth attended Chaka Khan's Promote Peace Rally and Toberman’s LA Bridges II’s Levi Wade organized a peace march/rally in Harbor Gateway on December 23, 2006, in the aftermath of 14 year-old Cheryl Green’s December 15th shooting.

November 2006--Toberman's Gloria Lockhart named commissioner of the Harbor Area Planning Committee. Toberman hosted a community Harvest Fest 2006 & participated in a special showing of The Glory of Christmas

September 2006--Young Eagles Participation

June 2006-- Toberman Neighborhood Center, San Pedro, was named ‘Non-Profit of the Year’ by United Way of Greater Los Angeles at last evening’s 2006 Celebration of Caring Event and Awards held at the California Science Center. Continue reading.
