Volunteer Center

Toberman welcomes Volunteers!  We welcome teen interns and volunteer service group projects.  Often, volunteers like to start out in one of our ongoing projects and then use their creativity to develop a new and exciting project.  It’s up to you!

It is easy to become a Toberman Volunteer!
First, set-up an introductory appointment with the Volunteer Coordinator:

These projects always need volunteer support. Please call Nicole Estrada to get more information about:

  • Youth Services:

    Wed 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm,  Thurs 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Toberman Feeding Program Volunteer

This is our most popular and interactive program! It allows a group or individual to pick one day a month to come serve a hot meal to our children at 4:15 pm. The group prepares the food, brings all the paper goods to feed approximately 150 children, then serves their food to them. It's so heartwarming to see them smile and say "Thank You!" when they receive your food. A balanced meal is appreciated, as Toberman encourages “healthy eating” habits in our youth.

Toberman Athletics Volunteer

With the arrival of our Olympic-sized basketball gym, we need help teaching athletic skills and developing team sports for our youth.  Volunteers assist Toberman coaching staff with after-school recreation or organized team sports.

Toberman Summer Camp Counselor

Come have fun in the summer sun with our youth ages 5-10 in our Toberman Summer Day Camp.  Lend a hand as the kids rotate through different activities on the Toberman campus: math lab, computer lab, reading lab, free time, recreation, and arts & crafts.

  • Monday – Friday 11:30 – 5:00 pm

* Note: The summer schedule is tentative as the youth have field trips every week.
