Toberman Neighborhood Center is a non-profit organization that provides social services to low-income individuals and families in the Harbor area, helping them move from poverty to self-sufficiency.
Planned Giving
Planned giving creates opportunities for both Toberman and our contributors. It is easy to be a philanthropist and you can receive a true financial benefit while you help others.
Your gift will greatly help Toberman’s mission to empower low-income members of the community to help move them past poverty and achieve financial independence. Toberman has four endowments funds you can choose from that will ensure your legacy:
Teaching Children: education, athletics, and the arts
Programs include athletics, music, arts and crafts, and education, including: after school tutoring, computer skills, phonics, math, and a home-study high school where you graduate with a diploma from LAUSD.
Keeping Families Together
Services include family counseling, emergency services, filling the food pantry, providing clothing, job training, and gang intervention work.
Facilities Maintenance
Provides for purchasing new equipment, repairs, and maintenance of our campus to provide the best services to clients.
General Mission Work
Support programs that move low-income individuals from poverty to self-sufficiency and empower them for a lifetime.
